It was originally curtain material (and i often got stopped on the street by people who grew up with the curtains in their bedroom)

Vintage 1970s Towel Set - BHS- Brown x3 footstool Measures 21cm long x 5cmThis is a lovely set of 3 brown towels The 2 smaller ones (large hand towels or 'hair towels' i would say)? appear unused and one has the price stricker on the label The larger one has a mark, which looks like rust? i have washed it, but cannot get this off, and it seems to have removed some pile too. Obviously being brown on brown, it isn't obvious at all Smaller measure 51. 5cm wide x 100cm and the larger one is 70cm wide x 130cm long Sold as a set
