Scarce Fine 14.5" Wide 9.5" Tall Antique 10 Mirror French Bride's Veil or Tiara Display, c. 1850s, for Jewelry Now Alphabet This one weighs 41 gramsA rare and beautifully theatrical French mid 19th century brides veil display stand, dating to the romantic era of the Second Empire, c. 1850s60s. Crafted in gilt metal with scrolling foliate framework, it is adorned with ten mirrors including deep beveled glass panels and convex and shield form plates that catch and multiply the light in the most enchanting way. The sculptural form, with its naturalistic leaves and raised rosettes, was designed to
