Trout Lake Sunset on Birch "This piece was created byacrylic on birch panel 24 X 24 in. 2017 "Every year I visit an old friend at his cottage on Trout Lake near North Bay. It is situated on a small island. This is the view due west. Every year I attempt to capture the fleeting moment of sunset by using wet paint on wet board. It is literally a two minute painting. I then bring it back to the studio for small touches and varnishing."
