This pendant was forged from a cast of some really gnarly wood in the Northern Lake District

Bassenthwaite Pendant 7mm x 3mm x 2mmI cut and polished a tiny piece of stone I found in Bassenthwaite Lake and then used a sand casting method to set it in sterling silver. It's a risky technique as the silver is well above 900 degrees celsius when I pour it over the stone, so there is always a risk of the stone cracking if it contains any fissures. Luckily it didn't and the result is a simple but unusual, chunky pendant which looks gorgeous on. Chain not included 7 grams
