This is a c. 1500s or possibly late 1400s woven wool French Aubusson panel, a museum piece, superb subject fragment of what would surely have been a full wall palace or chateaux hanging. I am unsure if it is a King and Queen, but it has a feel of it. Several horses, a lot of men with banners and at least 2 women. One of my very best tapestries from a lifetime of collecting them.
