In the centre of this rose lies an antique steel cut rim button. The beauty of this hand carved green snail shell inset astounds me. This button is circa 1880s. Each petal is shaped and sewn individually around this beautiful button by hand. The back of this rose has a 1 1 4" lock pin for closure.
