A Pair of Mid-20thC Black Painted Composition Stone Panthers sub-Mirrors & Lighting The Tops: 17” squareOrigin: English Period: Mid 20thC Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1950 70 Height: 29. 5 Width: 11 Depth: 17 (each) The cast reconstituted stone panthers of large size, sejant on rectangular bases, both facing to dexter, having been black painted and now nicely timeworn with age, each with muscular bodies and snarling expressions, and surviving from the third quarter of the twentieth century. Although they both have losses to their lower jaws, as
