Purchased about 30 years ago just because I loved the exquisite fine bas relief of the plaque

75" diameter footstools with original floral needlepoints and parquetry style inlaid burled walnut veneers

yet it certain has done its job well over time

scrolling pattern and unique interlaced monogram that I can't quite decipher

Antique Figural and Pastoral French Needlepoint Fragment is a Petit Throw Pillow, Down and Feather Fill c.1825-35 Purchased about 30 years agoLate 18th to earliest 19th century French needlepoint, likely originally an upholstery salvage from the back of a chair, and my bet would be late 18th century from subject and type of stitches made up into a decorator throw pillow. This one is rather simple, and you might decide you want French passementerie trim or braid to frame it in (sew on by hand it's simple), or even just tassels on the corners. This one is a panel 11" square and pillow depth
