Their work is inspired by kitschy American hobnail glass, medieval Bohemian beer hall prunts, and forms from the Italian Modernist and Surrealist movements. The joke beckoning bits on the outsides of the tumblers are functional ornament, borrowing from the utilitarian anti slip berry grips of 14th century Bohemian glassware.
