Visiting the community and later partnering with ASTAL and San Cristobal Coffee to bring their coffee into our cafes has been a meaningful journey rooted in relationship coffee. ASTAL is based in the community of La Yerba, where the local economy depends on two main crops, avocados and coffee. Because these harvests happen back to
