I'd usually not be too fussed about Macabeu, but we're not dealing with normal vignerons here. From a parcel called Les Terres Rouges, whole bunch pressed before heading into a big old foudre. Starts all smoky before diving into pineapple, nostalgic boiled sweets, fennel, and positive bitters. A lovely wild edge but still so classy.
