Vintage Watercolor Painting in Frame, Serenity - Lake Pastoral with Boat Box entirely covered in hand paintedI love this old painting! It's so peaceful and calming, it's hanging in my home right now. The painting is a watercolor (aquarelle) rather than oil painting. Nicely framed, the frame will stay with the painting, of course. Signed by the artist, lower left, "Ed Heirman", and we have no date on it but I'd put it c. 1930 50 from the frame. The mat portion of this frame has also been oil painted to accent the palette of the painting, to wonderful effect.
