Dyson DC58 Pre-Motor Filter 300 Series The shield fits in placeThis replacement Dyson pre motor filter (Part #F635) fits the Dyson V6 Cordless, V7, V8, DC52, DC58, DC59, DC61, DC62, SV04, and SV09. It caps the top of the cyclone pack, catching fine dust before it reaches the motor. On a cordless machine a clogged pre motor filter cuts runtime and suction sharply, and a heavily loaded one can trip the thermal cutout so the vacuum pulses off. Fitting a clean filter clears the airway and returns full cordless power.
