I wanted to make this french ear hook a bit more versatile for you and thought that turning the loop towards the front would be great for dangles or hoops

They are then sanded and tumbled for extra strength

or just get some wire and make a messy wrap like shown in the photo

Gold Filled Spiral Earrings Large_Leaf_Earrings I wanted to make thisI made these spiral earring hooks using 20 gauge 14 20 gold filled wire. I hand formed the ear wires and then gradually hammered the bottoms of the spirals to make them flare. The ends have been rounded and smoothed for a nice fit. The ear wires were then sanded (to remove any tool marks) and tumbled for extra strength. These are great to use as interchangeable ear wires as well. Approximate Measurements: Length: just under an 1" (23mm) Width: 1 2"
