Each brace provides a strong canopy frame protection. You can use one brace on each end of the canopy under the "A" to secure the frame and keep it more rigid. If you live in a very windy area you can use a brace to the points where two poles connect. Each canopy brace is sold separately. Fits a 1 3 8" pole diameter.
