Cloud Grog 4oz Garrity Tools A refractory material used toFlecks + Specks Cloud Grog creates a high contrast speckled, or "dotted," texture that remains visible under glazes. Use L Grog (20 mesh) for bold effects in hand building and wheel throwing. Soft clay is recommended for throwing and trimming with L Grog. Flecks + Specks grog is made from colored clay that is fired, crushed, and separated by size. Besides adding strength to the clay like traditional grogs, this grog adds texture and color to the clay.
