As I left the location some snowflake were present as well

With this location there are two variables to consider

I woke up early to make my way towards the Banzai Pipeline

but also close to the water itself

Passing through the Clouds Building As I left the locationAs I departed Seattle on a flight back to Denver I knew we would be climbing through the clouds a few minutes after takeoff based on my inbound flight a few hours earlier. As we were making our way higher I had my phone ready to see what the conditions were like on top of clouds during the late afternoon. With the low amount of light once we passed through I was able to capture a few images with a longer shutter speed. This is a one second exposure
