Due to the location of the park it closes at 5:00 PM

as I thought the wave of the stadium lighting would be interesting with the sun positioned over the stadium

I was looking down to see what the stillness of the morning was showing in the harbor

I saw the first signs of light starting to shine on the sign at the train station capturing this scene under blue skies on a chilly morning

Sunrise over Denver Size:18"x24" Due to the location ofDuring the equinox there had been smoke from fires in the west as well as some much needed rain in Denver. Last week I took advantage of the clear skies to capture sunrise over Denver. At this time of the year the view from Sloans Lake allows the sun to rise directly over the buildings in downtown Denver. Preparing for this at the western edge of the park I position myself close to where I felt the sun would be over the city when creating this image.
