Latour Martillac other_regions_italy This isn’t super-dense though I

Latour Martillac other_regions_italy This isn’t super-dense though IThe 2015 Tour Martillac was impressive from barrel and that is translated into bottle. It has a much more attractive bouquet than the 2015 Olivier with crushed strawberry, briary and warm gravel aromas. The palate is medium bodied with grainy tannin, a fine bead of acidity, fresh and classic in style with an earthy and quite persistent finish. Excellent. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting. Neal Martin

Description

This isn’t super-dense though I very much like the intensity and overall

(from both Charmes and Mazoyères in a roughly 50/50 proportion)

its made from a single vineyard planted in the Santa Cruz Mountains at 730m above sea level and just 15 miles from the Pacific ocean

indeed to the point that it was unpleasant
