An inscription is visible in the lower right hand corner, but not legible. This unique textured oil painting features a village on a hill in the south of France, bathed in sunlight against a light blue sky. The foliage in the foreground shows the freedom and ample use of oil by the artist. The original frame is chippy and true to brocante style.
