Well I think this image pretty much sums up an early August afternoon in Juneau

Montana I was able to capture the sunset over the city

It was quite chilly the first morning of 2018 in Denver

On this day in October 2009 some early snow fell in the city which was interesting as the snow line was quite obvious throughout the city especially on the lawn of the capitol building

Shadows in the Sand Presentation:Matted Well I think this imageI made a third trip into the sand dunes at Death Valley National Park at sunrise during my time at the park and was treated with some direct light which gave the deep shadows in the sand. With an earlier in the week wind storm as well as a more remote area in the sand dunes I found may areas without footprints giving the texture of the sand blown into this appearance by the wind.
