the colors were vivid still from the last fall color in the city

but will do so in a few weeks for the season bringing more traffic to the road then what I saw on this day

The hike to the location is a moderate one with the reward of amazing views down the fjord and across the landscape of southwestern Norway

Over the city there was clouds but as you looked out towards the mountains it was blue sky

New Years Day Morning in Denver Size:24"x36" the colors were vivid stillFor the first morning of 2014 I headed out to photograph the skyline of Denver as I have done the past couple of years. This morning there was a system which was moving through which prevented a colorful sunrise as we have had the past couple of years. It was still nice to get out and watch the first morning of the year start with Denver as a backdrop. As I left the location some snowflakes were present as well.
