Sunshine on an Iceberg Size:16"x20" The light in the later

The light in the later part of the afternoon started to give some shadows in some areas but it was the repeating pattern and lines which drew me into photographing the building

This is a 30 second image with the moon light allowing the detail of the mountains to show in the image

I decided to add another dimension to the process and bring the readers of the blog as well as fans on Facebook into the project and have them vote for their favorite three images during the month of December

On this day I believe I saw around 10 people in the park while exploring on snowshoes

Sunshine on an Iceberg Size:16"x20" The light in the laterSailing past this iceberg the pure ice really stood out to me. As an iceberg melts it starts to change its disposition in the water based on the mass and how it is balanced. In this iceberg you can see some of the results of that shifting with the line of difference between the top and bottom. At that point there is also the clear ice which will sometimes happen at the water line or in this case where the water line was recently.
