Firstly, as a 'Coonawarra Shiraz', it is one of the few Penfolds reds that isn't a multi regional blend. It is also matured solely in French oak. Winemakers Notes COLOUR: Bright plum red NOSE: Perfumed high notes propelled by glaced cherry, red jelly crystal aromatics. Elderower? Florals and cedar beckon attention. A spike of choco mint reminds instantly of its regional
