Water Flowing over the Land Reflection across to Douglas Island as

across to Douglas Island as well as north towards the airport and Chilkat Mountains

In October 2008 I was in the area during a week long trip to northern California

I worked on some images of The Dancers and the other items in the area

I sat and watched as the waves of the ocean pushed up on the rocks and then as the water cascaded back into the ocean like a waterfall

Water Flowing over the Land Reflection across to Douglas Island asAs I looked out the window of the airplane heading towards Seattle the water flowing over the land drew my eye. At first I watched as it came closer to the plane and then started taking some images. Looking at it now the capture of the water reminds me of a tree as it branches out and in this instance the water continues to grow into the foliage of the tree or the open water.
