The fronts of the two upper drawers are set in moulded frames and fitted with simple brass ring handles

Carved Panel - 'Uprightness', Black Lacquer colour-cream giving a sense of movementThe carving in the centre of our black lacquer panel depicts bamboo a symbol of uprightness and is made from camphor, a wood which is easy to carve, this design being a representation of one of the 'Four Nobles', it is surrounded by scrolling dragons and the outer frame is made of fir wood. The panels can be bought individually or as a set of four.
