Ice at South Sawyer Glacier Building These approach also give aOn the day I visited Tracy Arm and South Sawyer Glacier, there was plenty of ice in the area in front of the glacier as our boat slowly made its way around the area giving us view of the glacier. At this point instead of being on top of the boat where most people were viewing, I headed to the back which allowed me to get close to the water. From this perspective I am able to capture the ice in the picture and help tell the story of that day.
