The grapes for this Chardonnay were sourced from our vineyard in the Broke/Fordwich sub region of the Hunter Valley and carefully selected parcels in Pokolbin

Some years ago De Bortoli acquired unique parcels of very old fortified wines from Rutherglen in Victoria and the Barossa Valley in South Australia

Dark, almost black wine with intense, multi red fruit aromas with hints of licorice and wild mint. Rich, complex and impressive in the mouth with soft, rounded tannins and a very long and pleasant aftertaste. A true taste of Kefalonia in a glass! Excellent with rich meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses.
