It is the "Mandarin" pattern which features a rich burgundy red color on the outside with handainted gold designs of flowers and plants. It is a very regal style. The inner rim has a patterned gold border. There is a maker's stamp on the bottom that reads "Meito China Japan Hand Painted". Meito China (now known as Narumi) was created in tandem with
