Le Jardin Joyeux 1957 Size:A1 commonly known as The RemarkablesLe Jardin Joyeux 1957 is a homage to the Old Rectory, the home of my grandparents and before that, WWI poet Siegfried Sassoon. This special place, surrounded by long lawns, flower gardens, orchards and vegetable patches, was our magical playground by the sea, which we would visit every summer. 1957 is the year my mother was born and represents the ties between the generation above and below her.
