For the next few hours we explored just outside the downtown area and some of the great architecture new and old which can be found in Denver

This was the largest amount of snowfall which fell from one storm at this in the season making for much excitement to finally receive a good snowfall in the metro area

A spring storm dropped some snow along the Front Range of Colorado

With the wildfires in Colorado (most of which are either at or nearing 100% containment) there are just a fraction of the normal fireworks display around Denver for the 4th of July

In October 2008 I was in the area during a week long trip to northern California. Exploring some of the roads I came across this tree early one morning and thought the barbed wire and the look of the tree were complimentary in meaning.
