Designed by Fisher and Fisher in a style of Early Italian Renaissance Revival

I grabbed my camera and quickly headed down to the Gastineau Channel just as the sun was rising for the last day of November

Walking around Civic Center Park I headed up the steps of the Colorado State Capitol and was treated with a nice view of the mountains with still some fall color in the area

With camera in hand I captured some images along the fresh snow

Flamingo in Chicago Size:11"x14" Designed by Fisher and FisherIn the plaza of the Federal buildings in Chicago is the Flamingo sculpture by Alexander Calder. This was the first time in many years I walked past this location and on this occasion the orange of the sculpture and the black background caught my attention. Instead of photographing the full piece, I chose the just photograph portions of the piece with the buildings filling the whole background.
