Being elevated over the water let me photograph down

the current location was not built until 1924 as noted at the top of the facade

With the snow continuing the fall it wasn't long until the trees were fully covered in heavy snow on their branches

The full moon was out on this day and it was the closest the moon has been in 70 years

Bay Area Sunset Nature Being elevated over the waterI was heading back across San Francisco Bay to Bay Farm Island as the sky started to light up during sunset. From the back of the ferry I watched as the sky changed color first across San Francisco and then across the peninsula as the ferry headed south. This was a nice surprise after a day exploring the City and Angel Island.
