With Reykjavik also being so far north the position of the sun changes drastically over the course of the year as well which also provides differing directions of shadows from the light

Moving just a little I start to capture this scene which was above me prior to moving onto the next area of flowers

A nice soft light gives the metal on these two pieces at the salvage yard a sense of belonging and compliments the scene

Noticing that the wind was blowing out of the south I found myself south of airport to photograph takeoffs

Pine Cone in the Snow Holiday Cards:Package of 50 Holiday Cards With Reykjavik also being soAs some snow fell in the city I took advantage of this and headed to the foothills to photograph. I soon came across a tree with many pine cones where I spent some time taking pictures. With the fresh snow in the tree and a small blanket of snow as a background this was one of my favorites from the images I took. The folded card is 5"x7" and the inside of the holiday card has the greeting: Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for the New Year
