Octomore 6.1 Redbreast 8%) all matured in first-fillThe 6th release in the super heavily peated Octomore range from Bruichladdich. 6. 1 is produced from barley grown at the Octomore farm on Islay and then peated to 167ppm. Matured for 5 years. Non chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 57%. (Bottle size 750ml) Nose: Sea spray, wet seaweed and hints of oily iodine. Then peat smoke with cracked black peppercorn, heather flowers and water mint. Palate: Crisp, malted barley
