and “The Tastee Freez” became a special memory for me

Growing up during the 50s and playing baseball daily, I remember the Saturday Baseball Game of the Week hosted by Dizzy Dean, Phil Rizzuto, and Buddy Blattner. It was sponsored by Falstaff, the Choicest Product of the Brewers Art, using a cartoon character named The Old Pro. This ad shows the Old Pro sliding into the plate for a Falstaff. The colorful ad
