As I got to the location I positioned myself and decided to go with a wide angle to include the overhang and capture the image

I had just walked down this path when I turned around to notice the scene of trees lining the walk with a hint of fresh leaves on the trees

It was a nice clear day in Denver as I walked down 14th Street to a meeting and I was photographing along the way

Lassen National Park Size:18"x24" At the time he wasLassen National Park is located a few hours north of Sacramento. The park contains the southern most volcano in the Cascade Range which is Lassen Peak. Throughout the park you will find still active mud pots and other types of activity. I stopped in the park in late 2009 while on a road trip from Sacramento to Denver with a friend. Even in the short time we stopped at the park it was an interesting site to see in the fall and is on my list of places
