All of the Trapet 2016s are obviously extremely young wines but I cannot recommend buying it as it’s difficult to like at present and I cannot recommend aging it for fear that it will dry out

Smooth and silky tannins denote the mouthfeel and carry the wine forward over the palate

the purity and flavor make this rise above the crowd

the 2017 Alter Ego de Palmer is deep garnet-purple in color and springs from the glass with vivacious black raspberries

Colgin, Tychson Hill Cabernet Sauvignon Vintage:2014 All of the Trapet 2016sThe 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill is beautifully layered throughout, with striking aromatics and tons of nuance. There is no shortage of intensity, but, somewhat uncharacteristically, the Tychson Hill is the least opulent of these four wines. The 2014 has closed down considerably after bottling. From barrel, it was nuanced, classy and super polished. I suspect it will be all of those things again in a number of years. Dollops of Cabernet Franc
