the 2013 is one of the most impressive young La Serras I have ever tasted from Roberto Voerzio because the tannins are much more polished than is typically the case here

all of which is trimmed in moderate wood toast

It feels like this 2018 vintage is still warming up and is slowly putting on volume and weight

Silver Oak, Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Vintage:2014 I like the overall senseMarked by drought and a warm dry summer, the year had ideal ripening conditions and the shortest harvest season ever. Low yields and small berries translated into a bold, deep coloured Cabernet with less than 5% other Bordeaux varietals. Its a big mouthful of ripe juicy blackberry flavours with spicy aromas and roasted brown sugar notes of American oak aging.
