The drive to the top of Haleakala can be a long one especially if you are on the western side of Maui

On one day in Reykjavik I did just that and started to explore

With the intersecting lines of the freeway and the bridge I used a long exposure to capture the traffic passing under the bridge along I-25

Just a year ago there was much construction work along Tennyson Street in northwest Denver

Aircraft Departing over the Plains Presentation:Photobox The drive to the topEarlier in the spring I was scouting the area around the airport and noticed an aircraft on final approach to Denver International Airport. Looking down the road I had noticed the contrast of the two fields ahead and now the plane overflying one of those fields which got me thinking. I headed back to this location to capture some departures on this day as the aircraft quickly climbed over the Colorado plains.
