When taking an image like this the direction of light is important and as it was shining in my direction I had to be careful for lens flare in the camera itself

the sea was once a popular vacation spot prior to the sea becoming polluted and the salinity of the water increasing to very high levels

On a summer morning I headed to a park in Uptown to photograph the skyline of the city

Rocks along the Beach Size:11"x14" In late April 2013As I stood in the pre dawn light on the beach in Hawaii, I noticed two rocks in the sand which the tide was coming to during each rotation of water. Using the low light I set up my tripod to capture the two rocks and the motion of the water with a longer exposure. Once my image was framed I wait for the water to move up the beach and let extended shutter opening turn the water into a dream like state.
