By studying the work of a traditional german shoemaker, we learnt a lot about the depth and work involved in trade, as it was 80 years ago. Today less than 1% of boots produced are welted, and few of those are made with hand stitched double welt (Storm welt, not Good year). We've opted to design this boot with a storm welt that goes all around, for a sturdier and more waterproof boot. A sole
