On this day I captured downtown Denver using the windows to frame the city making it slightly out of focus with a shallow depth of field

Currently the trail takes you through the approach lights thus when an aircraft is landing in Juneau people will stop and watch the aircraft come right over their head which was the case with this Boeing 757

The holiday lights in downtown Denver are quite popular to view and photograph

From this perspective the repeating lines and the contrast against the dark sky drew my attention for the image today

As we stood on the corner of 17th and Broadway, I noticed the reflection of Republic Plaza and after moving back and forth along the curb came up with the above composition. For the next few hours we explored just outside the downtown area and some of the great architecture new and old
