Bladnoch Adela 15 Year Old 46.7% 70cl Sheridans 2001 and 2008Bladnoch Adela is part of the relaunch of malts from the lowland distillery. Matured in Oloroso sherry casks both first fill and 2nd fill Spanish and American oak for 15 years produces a rich, Full bodied whisky with sweet sherry fruit notes. The nose had sherry soaked raisins, nuts and toffee. The palate has sherried fruit, dark chocolate, coffee with a hint of liquorice and a pepper. Nutty and soft warming finish long and flavoursome in the mouth.
