Antique French Religious Reliquary - Holy Family under Glass striped blue lightly embossedPurchased by me in Paris France about 40 years ago, this is one religious icon reliquary that I always thought I would hold on to. Oval in shape and under glass, here's a handmade (usually by nuns) religious image of the Holy Family Saint Joseph, the Virgin Mary and the Infant Jesus. Now the faces and hands of the image are Antique Victorian die cuts while the clothing of the figures is genuine looks like satin but most likely is silk as it drapes
