Nicole Laporte - Un soir de décembre 12x24 Inspired by photographs he takesNicole laporte was born in Montreal in 1954, and currently resides in Rigaud, Quebec. Although drawing has always been a part of her daily life, Laporte waited until she was in her forties before leaving her profession as a clerk to devote herself entirely to painting. She took a few classes with Marcel Bourbonnais and then explored the possibilities of oil in a self taught way. Her surroundings and her happy family life experiences naturally orient
